Chelsea Kurnick is a self-professed travel junkie, wine geek and word nerd. Her love of international travel comes from her father, who has been to every continent (yes, even Antarctica) and who hikes “14ers” all over the world. A veteran traveler herself, Chelsea’s colleagues have dubbed her an amateur tour-guide of the west coast of the United States. Her favorite California road trip is the Lost Coast Scenic Drive. She is also a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers and earned her Advanced Certificate in Wine and Spirits through the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET)
Anchoring McCue’s Sonoma County office, she brings her passions to her work in executing strategic public relations and social media programs for the company’s Northern California clients. She handles day-to-day client communications, media relations, organizing press trips and writing press materials to generate coverage of clients such as Visit Santa Rosa, Sonoma County Winegrowers Association, and Vintners Inn. She manages a support staff and likewise coordinates vendors for special projects, such as video production.
Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from University of California Riverside, where she was also the editor of the university’s literary arts journal Mosaic.
