#WeAreMcCue, a team of passionate travelers and culinary connoisseurs who tell stories all over the globe. Olivia, who is an account assistant on our wine team, traveled to Nepal and Bhutan earlier this year with a group from school to make a social documentary.
“Bhutan is the most inspiring place I have ever visited. Their government runs on ‘Gross National Happiness,’ which is reflected through their amazing preservation of culture. Their enforced tourism fee calls for visitors to travel with intention, which, along with the fact that they have 70% forest coverage, supports their feat of being the only carbon negative country in the world. Their immense respect for each other, their culture and their land is something we should all strive to achieve.” Fun Fact: A team of eager entrepreneurs just planted Bhutan’s first vineyards!
Our CEO and Director of Communications Michelle McCue recently attended the 2019 CalTravel Summit in Downtown Los Angeles.
