Michelle McCue
President
As the hands-on leader of McCue PR, Michelle is a geek for strategy and an advocate for the transformational power of travel. Her wanderlust was formed early: She was three weeks old when she traveled abroad for the first time. Since then, she has visited 20 countries, most of the 50 states, and lives bi-coastal between Los Angeles and New England.
With 20 years of tourism and communications experience, Michelle is an in-the-trenches agency leader, working in tandem with her team to craft storytelling strategies that convert to economic impacts for clients of every size. She is happiest when digging into the nitty-gritty of research, numbers and planning, and delights in parsing complex problems into bite-sized solutions.
She has helped her team garner numerous awards, including two prestigious PRism Awards from PRSA-LA, two Davey Awards, and the Golden States’ Poppy Award for best tourism PR campaign.
Stephanie Goodwin
Managing Partner
Stephanie launched and currently heads up our New York office after joining McCue in 2017, with a high-level focus on our clients and new business. She spent three years leading Media Relations for San Luis Obispo-based, CA agency, Verdin Marketing, and more than a decade of experience in public relations, marketing and events.
Her career began at the New York-based media company, Manhattan Media, and has since comprised a variety of leadership positions on both coasts, where she has directed public relations, marketing and events for clients in the tourism, culinary and lifestyle sectors. Her tactical expertise includes developing media relations strategies, brand story development and generating earned media outreach for brands such as Ventura County Coast, Discover Morro Bay, Visit Cayucos, the Shoreline Inn, and the Cambria Inns Collection. Stephanie has also worked with lifestyle brands such as CHANEL, Kwiat diamonds, Dylan’s Candy Bar, Bumbleride strollers, All Good, and others.
Stephanie received a B.A. in Journalism from Northeastern University in Boston and was awarded the prestigious Husky Leadership Award while there. She excels in spoken and written communications, developing meaningful relationships with clients, problem-solving and keeping a level head in the face of a crisis.
